With three families photographed last Saturday, it does take a while to process all the images. Here we are, it's Thursday, and there's still so much to do.
The Danese family were the second shoot of the weekend. Like so many of the jobs during January, they took advantage of the special £30 for a 'one-hour portrait' offer. I turned up at 12.30pm and we began shooting straight away.
Their 2½ year old daughter was absolutely delighful to work with and she really enjoyed dressing up and perfoming for the camera. The bouncing on the bed image is rapidly becoming my most requested shot, and the kids love doing it.
Most of the shots were with available light or were supplimented with my Canon 580EX II speedlites in a Lastolite Ezybox. The kitchen shot needed a second flash, which was bounced of a nearby white wall. All flashes were fired using PocketWizard wireless triggers.
